Ski Racing
Dryslope Ski Race Club
We are an open and friendly club, and we are always on the lookout for ambitious skiers to who want to be part of a winning team.
Chatham Race Club is a team that competes in ski racing events at a local Regional level, and at all other levels, up to and including the National GBR Series. Our members span all age groups from the Under 10’s Mini categories right through to the Over 30’s Masters category.
The racing is fun, exciting, addictive and is a sport that differing abilities and age groups can participate in together. Most race events consist of single timed slalom runs with each racer going one at a time. So, although you are competing against other racers times, it’s really about you against the course!

Race Series
LSRESA runs a summer series each year. Race format is: three individual slalom runs, three individual head-to-head dual slaloms and club and fun-team dual slaloms. Trophies are awarded at each event for top three in age group, based on combined best two times from the individual slalom runs. There are also overall trophies for each group for the season. This is based on points, which are earned based on age-group position at each individual race, together with the individual head-to-heads. A racer must score points in three races to be eligible for the overall, and points are taken from the best four events.
